Hello again, my name is Nick, I ride a VFR 1200 and live in Madisonville. I joined the Ride New Orleans forum a while back as Head Hunter while stuck at home with a nagging backache. That turned out to be a ruptured disc and required surgery. I am fully recovered and have a trip to Arkansas and Colorado under my belt and am interested in starting to ride with you guys. I was receiving text message alerts of all the rides you all were taking but those stopped a while back. Please let me know what I need to do to get back in the loop. Looking forward to meeting you!!!

Hey Nick, glad you're all healed up. The guy who started our group (Andy), is back in school & hasn't been planning many rides because of it. Get on the groupme app, we plan stuff on there too.

I stopped using the groupme app because of the number of messages I was getting. I am not interested is seeing every conversation every member is having. Is there a way of just getting ride notifications or are ya'll still posting rides in the Rides section of the site or on facebook?

Lately all I've seen is people planning rides on groupme. My suggestion, just turn off the notifications & check it when ya like. Read as much or as little as ya like. It seems no one uses this site anymore nor does the Facebook page get much attention. Until Andy gets out of school, I think the groupme app is & will probably remain our main source of communication.
