All common sense, I've been riding for 29 years and have been a solo rider for most of them. On the few rides I've been on I've seen these things being practiced. The hand signals I got as I saw them. I've seen some that ride faster then others which I don't have a problem with as long as I'm not brought in to it. We all have different riding styles and personalities, the group and they idea behind it is riding together with a group of like minded people and in my experience bikers tend to live closer to the edge. Especially younger drivers. I've never fit in with the Harley cruiser guys even though I ride a cruiser. I've found 95% of the people in this group cruiser or super bike to be good people and have had a great time hanging out. I'm not saying I want to be around a bunch of accidents but I do think asking bikers to follow rules is like asking a politician not to lie or stretch the truth.

I took the MSF course and All State gave me about $60 discount. It is worth it and the instructors are great as well. I wish I had a fraction of their skill.
