Had a discussion today and it sparked an interesting topic. Motorcycle insurance rates seem to be all over the map. When I first got my first bike I quoted rates for full coverage from the big 3 Gieco, Progressive, and Allstate and took the lowest quote at the time. A year later I decided I should shop around and ended up with a motorcycle only company with better coverage at HALF the rate I was paying.
I figured if we all shared some info on our bikes, crash ticket history, coverage and rat. We could save people some serious money.

Insurance co: Leslie Kays (progressive) Coverage: Full Bike: 2011 Ducati 848 evo Rate: $1250 YR History: 31yr old w/ 1 accident Satisfaction: Very happy so far.
PS: when I switched Gieco was charging me $230 a month and they had horrible service when I used them in my crash. It took the adjuster over a month to come look at my bike so that they could begin to repair my bike after he repeatedly lied to me about when he was coming.

$380 a year for full coverage on the SV 650 Includes comp & collision at $250 deductible Includes $3000 in accessories Includes $5000 in medical payments Includes uninsured motorist All Through Leslie Kays although its a progressive policy its much cheaper than going directly through Progressive for some reason.
